Terms of Service
Updated August 18, 2026
These terms govern download and use of DataScrub and NonprofitReports (the “Software”). By using the Software, you agree to these terms. If you use it for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.
License
GetDataScrub grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Software during a valid trial or paid subscription, subject to the device and user limits shown at checkout or on the purchase receipt. The Software is licensed, not sold.
Trials
- DataScrub provides one fixed 72-hour trial per protected machine identity.
- NonprofitReports provides one fixed seven-day trial per protected machine identity.
- The period begins when the first licensed feature is used and confirmed by the trial service—not when the file is downloaded or the launcher is opened.
- Reinstalling, deleting local files, or changing the computer clock does not create a new trial.
- Internet access is required to start a trial and periodically verify status. Limited offline use may be allowed between checks but does not extend expiry.
Acceptable use
You may not reverse engineer, circumvent licensing or trial controls, redistribute the Software as your own product, share a license beyond its permitted scope, use it unlawfully, or use it to harm systems or third parties. Applicable law may provide rights that cannot be restricted by this clause.
Your responsibilities
You remain responsible for source data, accounting judgments, mappings, allocations, review, backups, access control, and the accuracy and appropriateness of final outputs. Test the Software on copies of important workbooks, review representative records and totals, and retain appropriate supporting documentation.
Professional judgment
The Software assists spreadsheet and reporting work but does not replace professional accounting, audit, tax, legal, information-security, or regulatory advice. NonprofitReports provides structured nonprofit presentation and controls, but the user remains responsible for confirming that classifications, allocations, disclosures, and reports fit the organization’s facts and applicable requirements.
Payments, renewal, and refunds
Prices, subscription periods, taxes, device limits, and renewal terms are presented at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. Unless the checkout states otherwise, paid subscriptions renew for the stated term until cancelled. The published customer policy provides a 14-day money-back period following an initial purchase; statutory rights are not affected.
Updates and availability
Features, compatibility, online services, and release channels may change. Reasonable efforts are made to maintain trial and licensing services, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Updates may be required for continued compatibility or security.
Disclaimer and limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Software is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that it will be error-free or suitable for every workbook, accounting system, file, or reporting requirement. GetDataScrub is not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or lost-profit damages. Any aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected product during the preceding 12 months, except where such a limitation is prohibited.
Termination
Access may be suspended or terminated for material breach, misuse, fraud, chargeback, or attempts to bypass product controls. Provisions concerning ownership, restrictions, responsibility, disclaimers, and liability survive termination.
Contact and changes
Questions about these terms may be sent to the email address on the purchase receipt or to jkisarale@gmail.com. Updated terms apply prospectively from their published date unless law requires otherwise.
